Patients with Dental Insurance

We are pleased that you have a dental co-payment insurance policy.  We will do everything we can to help you maximize the benefits on a yearly basis.  While it's impossible to know the details of every policy, we use computer programs, online and phone consults to learn as much as we can about your specific benefits.  We ask you to keep several important facts in mind:

  • You have maximum coverage per year between $1000-$2000.  When dental insurance began in 1970, they generally allowed the same amount of maximum payment as allowed today, although your plan's premium's have greatly increased over the years.  Adjusting for inflation, a benefit of $1000 in 1970 should be worth nearly $6000 today
  • Your insurance plan is a contract between your employer and the insurance company .  We work 100% for you, not the insurance company.  We will help you maximize your benefits, but we won't let clinical decisions be dictated by an outside corporation.  The benefits you receive are determined by how much the employer pays for the plan.  The less expensive the plan, the fewer the benefits.
  • No insurance plan covers all dental expenses.  Some companies pay fixed allowances for certain procedures and others pay percerntage of the charge.

We believe that a cooperative effort between you and our team will result in dental care we are proud to give and you are pleased to receive.  We will work closely with you and customize your treatment needs to fit your goals.
